Yeah! I know, I should have blogged about this MAC lipstick eons ago. but, i guess it'll never too late, most especially if your talking about The "infamous" ARCHIE lipstick. Earlier this year, MAC had launched a limited edition makeup line that most probably struck most ladies straight to their heart and gave most, if not all a lil' tickle on their giddy childhood selves who have been sleeping all the while. Despite the hefty amount I've just previously spent for a makeup haul, I found myself closing my eyes, taking a VERY deep breath and joining the BANDWAGON!!! Hence, I bought another lipstick.
Albeit, I promised to stop HOARDING a bulk of lipstick, MAC Archie Girls Collection lipstick in Betty Bright had hit my heart like a bullet. Keeping it bleeding until a tube of it will fall onto my hands and magically HEAL it. (Enough with those dramatic metaphors)
So, MAC was inspired by the comic character Betty Cooper who happened to be that blonde girlfriend of Archie that profess the quintessential 17-year-old girl next door personality. She's uniquely intelligent --- BETTY BRIGHT --- with that above average IQ.
Moving On, MAC Betty Bright is a satin finish described as the light, vibrant peach lipstick from the 3 Betty Lipstick from the fore mentioned collection. I almost dropped my jaw on my keyboard when I saw this online and instantly clicked that BUY NOW button to secure my purchase. I was totally ecstatic about this lipstick since its that coral lipstick that is said to look absolutely stunning on anyone. For more, it is SATIN in finish. Well, just in case you wanna know, I love satin finish lipstick from MAC because they are opaque and gives off enough color payoff with just one swipe.

(With MAC Archie Girl Collection Lipstick in Betty Bright)
SUMMER is already HERE and it seems like CORAL/ORANGE/BRIGHT colored lips are the "IN" thing! I fancied Betty Bright as this is the exact perfect shade of summer lipstick that I've always been hunting! How can you resist that stunning coral lipstick? It glides on smoothly and like any other MAC lipsticks, it delivers! It stays long (like 4-5 hours) without primer and it leaves a gorgeous lips. For most of those who had tried a Betty Bright themselves would understand why I L-O-V-E this lipstick.
Being a MORENA (NC40), people might say that I look pathetic because its too bright, but, I'll turn the other cheek! I'd say it will look FABULOUS on me!! BRING ON THAT SUMMER BLAST!!!
Oh!!! While using this, I REALIZED that this is similar to another lipstick of mine and for that, I'd like to PRESENT a Close DUPE to those who wanted to purchase this lipstick and was dumbfounded when it was GONE from the local MAC Counters. The MAYBELLINE Lipstick in Angel Rose which is from their permanent line, a lot cheaper and a little less vibrant than my MAC Betty Bright.
