Being a person who loves my picture being taken, the REVLON's Photoready line was really capturing me by heart. And since my previous blog was about the Face Primers, might as well, start with the basic face primers.
There are 2 types of face primers from REVLON Photoready line that is available on local revlon counters. It's the Color Correcting Primers and Perfecting Primers. The difference between them is that the first one is mainly for those people with skin discolorations and/or acne and the like. While the latter is for those people with smooth skin and have a little to none imperfections.
Now the much dreaded review, The Perfecting Primer form REVLON's Photoready line is housed in a glass pump bottle which is quite heavy yet sturdy. The packaging itself is very advisable especially to those bellas who are as clumsy as me (I would usually drop makeups accidentally from time to time). It's pump is also an advantage as it makes the lifespan of the product longer because its hygienic to use. The consistency of the primer is a bit silicone-ish and creamy at the same time. When spread to the skin, my initial impression was that it instantly mattifies the skin with the velvety like texture and yet after a couple of seconds would make your face look fresh and vibrant with that dewy effect.
a pump of primer on my hand
bare skin at the right side and the primer spread at the left
I was using the pump for the first time so it took me like 4 pumps to get out the first drop of product but as I pumped the 4th pump, a huge glob of primer went directly to my hand. It was actually more than what I would be using but the succeeding pumps went on fine. One pump will surely be enough in providing the perfect canvass for my face.I felt like my makeups blend easily with this and my makeup last an hour or two longer. I can say that the product is good because it did not cause any breakout to my super sensitive skin but I can't say its the best because there are also products which will give my skin a much better looking canvass but for this time, It'll PASS as one of the good ones.
I used the REVLON PHOTOREADY PERFECTING PRIMER before applying a little foundation and I am totally HAPPY with this! Definitely a good buy (not a must-have though)!!
